Does intake really add power low end??

I have a Weapon R intake. Had it up on the dyno when we put it on. up to about 4500 RPMs it was right about 4 but in higher a RPM range it made 7.3 a 6200. The thing about it you gain low end whp but drop low end wtq too. Low end wtq went down by 5.
no offense or anything, but who goes to a dyno after adding an intake? o.O

unless you have unlimimted free access to one, that's a pure waste of money and time

It feels like it makes more power...cause your foot is farther into the pedal cause of the cool sound it makes

if you have red or yellow its +15 horepower. so my friend spray painted my exhaust yellow when i was inside his apartment. lol deff didn't add horsepower and looked ugly. So i painted it chrome

It dont gain hardly any power but makes the car sound different and gives slightly better throttle response
