Has anyone ever used Maaco for a collision or rust repair? I'm on a strict budget, and I'm not sureif they doquality reairs. I need to repair the rust on both my rear quarters on my car before it gets a lot worse.

I would just like some opinions, or something you have heard about Maaco.

From what I know, you are far better off to do all the repair work and prep yourself, and just let them shoot the color and clear. Others may have heard other stuff, but when they did my sisters car, it looked like:

 

Ya they do a ok job, but I havent heard anything good about them. My buddy got his car done there, they messed up on the clear coat in a bunch of places, other then that it wasent bad..

 

my buddy got his volvo painted there, the paint looks real good, clear coat looks good, he went with the $1200 paint job though, so i couldent tell you about the budget jobs.

 

u dont want to go cheap when it comes to paint jobs trust me. i friend from work got his 240 painted there and he went the cheap route and it came all messed up but then again he only paid about 400 for it. Remember u get what u pay for!
