Hey guys, i need to replace my doorlock regulator but i can't get it out of the car. The only wire i can't detatch is the one running to the door handle. Anyone got any tips?

It's .5 inches thick...

are you talking about the linkage? theres a window regulator. i dont know what the "door lock regulator is" do you have pix? theres nothing thats .5 inch thick in my door.....do you have power windows?
