Maybe check the cars at the gym the next few times...look for someone w/ teal-ish paint on their bumper and then punch them in the face when they come out of the gym.

I got a few of those cracks when I was leaning into my trunk installing the rear strut bar.... yea i'm fat[8D]. Why you at the gym anyways? you should be at home eating pork rinds

Most of it should buff out, use a real buffer if you can with good brandcarnauba wax, couple coats.

if it makes you feel better, theres a spot on each side of my rear bumper where the paint is coming off, a spot on the roof where the primer is showing, scratch marks on my fender where a cat tried to get on my newly waxed car, and I apparent overdrew my account on my vacation so I have -$80 to fix it all with. It can always be worse, its still on the road isnt it?

and to Live_4it: thanks for the buffing info, I think I will try that, and I go to the gym because I like to be healthy... and be good in bed, lol
