This guy is trying to sell is 94 SI for $5500. Are the EG SIs really this expensive? The price $5500 is without the wheels, sub, and amp. He has some mods, but mods don't add value on used cars.

 

that is a tad high, whats the mileage, how is the body. get a carfax to see any history on the car

 

I'm not considering buying it, i wanna get a coupe. I was looking to craigslist for a coupe when i came across that and i thought it was kinda wierd and wanted to know if that was the regular price for an EG SI.

 

seems a bit pricy. its in good shape but i wouldnt get it for that much unless the engine has really low miles and good running condition..

 

SI is the one with a vtec engine right? i don't really know as i have a 1.6Esi vtec engine as i live in the UK but i only bought mine for £500 but also has done over 100k mileage so don't know if that compensates, but i do know it has alot of mods in it! mods that probably cost more then the car itself! but have a look around more and see if your find a better deal!

 

i would probably give him 3800 tops for it even if it is an si, its not like its turboed running 12's or anything...

 

how rare is it to find an eg si?

I had a ford dealership salesman tell me that they do free carfax but I am not in my hometown. I don't know if that is all ford dealerships or just that one. Doesn't matter if you are buying from them or not and you can check as many as you would like.
