i need help i don't want to sound stupidfirst i need to know the difference between an h22 and an h23 i have found an h23 for $600 and basically i want to know how fast it will make my 93 civic ex for the $600 i get an h23a a 433 final drive trans. and an ecu

H23 is a 2.3 liter DOHC NON-VTEC motor from a Prelude
H22 is a 2.2 liter DOHC VTEC motor from a prelude
H22 is a much better motor but it sounds like you have a good deal awaiting.
You can always swap an H22 head on there and have a 2.3 liter DOHC VTEC motor.
