Default Engine swap

Hi, i have an stock automatic 2000 civic lx. Ive replaced the head gasket twice now it last for a little while then it starts over heating again. Im done with this engine. I want to find one of those engines that get sent over from japan or something from a newer car in a junk yard. What kinda engine do i look for that will fit into this 20 year old car?

so instead of doing a leakdown test and actually fixing your problem (which could be a radiator cap, clogged radiator, bad temperture sender or fan switch or a cracked head) you want to purchase something unknown, spend more money and possibly still have issues if your problem isn't the engine?

Just make sure it IS the engine before a new one goes in. It absolutely can be a cooling system issue. Or just go ahead and put in a new radiator and hoses with the swap. Maybe a new heater core too.
