what is it thing called that opens your exhaust system when u press a button, it lets u run a stock exhaust, but hit the button and u run pretty much open header, or what ever depending where u put the valve or mechanism......let me know please, i cant find ANTHING about this

 

I think its called a cut out exhast. I once saw an Astro van with the cutout exhaust. He had a corvette engine in his astro van. He had 2 exhausts, one that was regular and another one that went out the sides, bypassing the cats and the muffler. He didn't have a button or anything, there was a metal plate that closed the bypass exhaust. He grabbed a screwdriver and took the plate out. Then the thing was freaking loud as hell and it made flames. At the end of the day, he put the plate back on and drove out.
