Default few questions

I have a 1995 civic with d15b motor in it. I bought a parts car(1993 civic) with a d15b block and a vtec head and the guy said he didnt know what head was on it. Is there any way to tell what it is? I want to put it on my car and eventually put a turbo on it. i will put a pic of the parts car motor to see if anyone can identify it. im going to piece it together slowly so money isnt a huge issue, it doesnt have to be done over night. but i also dont wanna spend a crap load on the best of the best if its not necessary.

Also what is needed for reliability when putting a turbo on these cars? Head studs? Better head/intake mani gaskets? I also just blew up my trans so anything I should do to the new one im putting in before I put it in? Thanks

The outside input shaft bearing is the weak part in the manual transmissions, always open up a used transmission and replace it before installing into the car.

Nice incomplete P/S removal there. A few parts of the A/C are also still hanging around. There isn't space to have A/C and a turbo at the same time.

that pic is of the parts car I bought. Someone gutted it. I bought it for the trans and motor for 300 bucks. I posted the pic to see if anyone knew what head it was. My car didnt come with ac or power steering.

Is there a VTEC solenoid on the head? I can't see in the picture. Since it has the spark plugs on the exhaust side means it may be a VTEC head, or it may not. (Spark plugs on the intake side it is definitely non-VTEC.)
