BX_civic what this means is at around 23,000 miles the first owner wrecked the car bad enough to get a salvaged title put on the car. Then somewhere between 03/30/95 and 05/06/97 someone fixed the car back to normal and on 05/06/07 got it state inspected and the salvage title was lifted and a clean one issued for the car. Then somewhere down the line you bought it with a clear title not knowing it had been wrecked!sorry dude. But as long as it drives ok I woudn't worry about it. Oh and as far as finding out what actually happened in the accidentjust go down to the dmv and ask for a printout of your vin it will probably cost some $$$$$ though nothing at the dmv is free!=-)
