Hey guys. How hard would it be to do a full paintjob? Wouldn't I have to remove everything from the engine bay, most interior stuff and then trunk carpet? Pretty much strip most of the car to get it all painted? Cause there is a black EJ1 I'm going to look at this weekend and I kind of want to paint it a red or a dark gunmetal gray. I'm all about the details (like Stacey David from gearz and formerly trucks) lol. I couldn't stand having it different colors. It probably wouldn't be worth the time to repaint it all though am I correct? If this isn't easy to understand let me know and I'll try to explain it better.

 

If your a perfectionist, yes your gonna have to remove everything.

 

That is what I figgured. How many hours would you guys expect it to take a newb to do that? One thing steering me away from the route if I get the EJ1 would be... "Where in the world did this part come from???" lol

Like I said my problem would be "where does this part go???" lol. I think I could do it but I wouldn't trust my self to do it with no one that knows civics around. Would a 98 ex sedan auto be close enough to go by on puttin a 94 ex 2dr manual engine bay back together? It would wouldn't it?
