OK My Rich Friend bought this car a year ago and does not drive it , so i have a opportunity to get it now , since he purchased it he put the Mazda5 Blue Paint $5000 2 Sparco Seats $3000 and $10,000 in internal engine work on a 2000 Type R engine , plus it has had the body wider 16inchs with 20 gauge steel .. the ride is plain sick !!! I have a opportunity to pick it up for like $13,000

I would like some opinions from fellow civic owners what you guys think ,worth it or not ???

in my opinion dont do it...13000 for any civic is way to much unless it is like a new one....you could build a way faster car than that for 13 grand. Its a very unique car though!

Ohhh and im not really lookin for something smokin fast , 280 HP on race fuel ..is plenty much for me ..... He dont know nothing about the inside either , all he knows is the guy who built it told him to run VP Race Fuel , how high would the compression have to be only run on Race Fuel ???

Im gonna run 93 if i get it , what do i have to look for , pops told me to run a compession check and if the compression is real high then it might be best to run race fuel .....

He is willing to trade my BMX collection for the car !!!

I collect old early 80's bmx bikes and he would be willing to give me top dollar for each bike towards the trade .... I have 1 bike worth over $4k .....but ifi was to sell it would only bring $2000
so in all actuallity i will really pay about $7000

You don't even really know what you're getting in to>
You didn't build it, and it sounds like your friend has some shop build it.
Get invest your money elsewhere.
You'd have to find some 16yr old kid who is hopped up on need for speed in order to sell it for a 'decent' price.
Most people would just pass on that car.
