Im in the process of buying myself a 2004 Honda Civic SI Coupe, and had a couple of questions

Its a 1.7L D series SOHC engine, am I missing out on vtec? Its got high kilometres, 350,000k to be exact, what issues can I expect to have to deal with and how much would it cost to be replaced/fixed.

Anything I should know before I actually get my hands on the car? Thanks for your help!

 

Make sure that it handles cold starts good. Check for chassis rust. And also check the wiring and electrical parts, make sure they aren't damaged.
