werd, because you're not gonna get anywhere near the NA torque of a V-8 so you might as well get something reasonably cheap for the performance.

My moms buying the car....and she said im allowed to spend up to $7000,......so maybe i could find a civic with a K20 or anoter nice motor in it...and then build around that. And i don't care about the torque, i just want to go fast, and possibly make some money off the rich kids in my town..lol

you're not gonnafind a $7,000 civic with a k20 already in it, unless it's a newer civic that's been totaled

for 7000 get an si. 99-00. You cant go wrong with an Si, and if you want, find one with higher mileage, so it will be cheaper, then use the money you save for a swap. put a b18 in an si or something

well what is your hp goal, or how fast are you trying to go? If you want the maximum speed, then a hatchback with a swap FTW. If you just want to be pretty fast then go with my first idea
