Default give me some thoughts on this

so i decided i would like to sell my civic and buy an 4 door Honda Accord between 1986-89, and i was curious if you guys have any thoughts on this? i would prefer ones with a 5 speed. i really like this specific year model because of the pop up headlights

my only concern would be switching to an older car is going to be less reliable and probably abused
itll be hard to find a mint late 80s car

if ur willing to work on it go for it, its just cars 2 decades old have a lot of wear and tear

Try to find an older model prelude instead. They're much COOLER, and you'll have better luck finding them with sticks than accords.

These were da bomb back in the day...

So you are selling your Civic which I am assuming you are not having problems with, for an old Accord purely for flip up headlights? LOL

My vote is for I to buy a first gen CRV with a manual. They ride on a civic chassis and have crazy room inside.

Lower them a couple of inches and you have a cheap fun mobile. I've got one and they're freaking awesome to drive compared to my previous civics.

Bought mine for $3800 on. Autotrader, but you can definitely find them for less.

I can only spend $2500 at the max so unless they are that cheap than i will have to buy an accord

Check Autotrader, eBay and your local craigslist listings. I you may very well find one. I've bought eight Hondas over the years, not including my wife's Hondas, and and i can definitely say CRVs are the best value for the money.

They're roomy, get debt gas mileage, can carry tons of stuff, go off road in a pinch, and are a tually fun to drive if u buy one with a five speed.
