I saw this car and I believe it to be to good to be true. What do you guys think?
It is 5spd. manual, hatchback, $3,850. Here are the seller comments.
This car is built to race but is also my daily driver. It runs and drives PERFECT. It has a few flaws in the paint like the front bumper is black because I sold the body kit off of it. The side skirts are showing black through also because the painter didnt take off the body kit side skirts before he painted it. And one of the wheels has a curb mark on it. The car is equipped with TENZO racing seats with DOT approved harnesses. The paint is custom mixed LEXUS factory paint. All it needs is a little TLC a few paint chips fixed here and there and it will look great. Also the car needs a new speed sensor that makes the speedometer work so right now it does not. It is a very easy part to change takes about 3 mins. I love to drive this car and it has won several awards. Here is a list of just some of the options on the car. Those pictures dont do justice! if i were you, id drive the car first. Im not a big fan of the NOS but im not gonna dis on it. If its setup is right, then im sure its fun fun fun! However, i didnt see anything about the engine being built. Who knows how this guy drove the car. Having invest that much, and selling for so cheap. ?? makes ya think??

 

Well shots of about 35 are good for a stock engine. But you are right about the cheapness, it is a bit wierd. The only problem is that it is 200 mi away, so driving it just to see how well it performs might be a problem. I am think that it is to good to be true. I will have to talk to the owner more about this car.

 

thats a d17, not a race engine by any means. btw the venom fuel management is junk, all it does is dump a butt load of fuel in it

 

15K invested... YA RIGHT! maybe if the investment was the car brand new.LOL

 

I am not really considering buying this car I am just asking if it is to good to be true. I was just wondering, because I am not 100% familiar with some of these parts.

1) never buy a modified car unless you PERSONALLY know the seller
2) never buy a car with a part on it made by Tenzo; Tenzo = instant ricer
3) if they seller acknowledges a problem, and says "...it's a simple fix that won't cost much and will take __ min." don't buy the car. the guy would have fixed it already if it was a "simple fix"
4) People who type in CAPS are idiots
5) those pics blow
6) wtf does "built to race" mean? nobody goes and races with just a cai and nitrous*

Do you guys think that this is real(not 15k of course), but do you think it actually has all of this stuff for that price? Or is it BS and blown or something.

most the time they are LIES... tho i did sell my truck with a minor hard shifting problem from 1st into 2nd but im sure it was just a computuer issue cause my old jimmy had the same problem but 300times worse thru every gear! and it was a simple bad sensor! cheap 65dollar fix i was jsut ALWAYS to lazy to have it looked at.

but with the BUILT TO RACE..... should be a dead giveaway.... HE PUSHES THE CAR HARD! its about as stupid as reven the motor up high or burning rubber for a guy interested in guying the car....
it just shows you the cars been abused!!!!!!!!!
id rather buy a ORIGINAL STOCK COMPLETE OEM car that a completly molested beat on car!
