Default got a weird problem

alright, i've got an 02 ex. and i'm having some interesting problems with the car starting. yesterday, i started my car and drove to town. got into town and it wouldn't start back up. i push started it, and went about my way. i had to stop the grocery store, so i left my car running (sent the wife in) and my car just all of a sudden died. i jumped it off and drove to my dad's house. put a different battery in, and went about my way again. this morning, the car started fine. again on lunch, it started fine. BUT, when i got off of work, it was dead again. and when i say dead, i mean dead. not even enough juice to turn my hazard lights on. so, got my car jumped off again and drove home. a 30 min trip. when i got home, it wouldn't start again. i let it sit for about 3 hours and mysteriously it starts now with no hesitation what so ever. i had my alternator checked recently, and it checked out fine. anyone have any clue what this could be?

Check whether the battery ground wire attached to the frame is loose or corroded.

Sounds like a battery connector or ground wire problem. Also make sure the battery connectors are tight and clean.

Check the connections in the underhood fuse box too. When it is dead, turn the headlight switch on so there is some load, then take a voltmeter and measure the voltage across each wire and connection. A good wire or connection would have nearly zero voltage. (this assumes there is voltage at the battery).
