Default Handling or Power?

I have a 97 LX, and am thinking of putting the K20A2 (Type S) engine in it. My question is, should I go ahead and do this, or should I get coilovers and new rims/tires, then get the K20?

Alright, well, if I bought coilovers, what else do I buy with them? I mean do I just buy coilovers or do I have to buy shocks to go with them? And then also, which of these two coilover kits are better? http://www.procivic.com/pages-produc...619/index.html or http://www.procivic.com/pages-produc...392/index.html If someone could reccomend any coilover kit that's really good for my car, please let me know.

No point having a lot of power and no brakes, I’d get the suspension, rims/tires and brakes sorted out then add the power.

Are you gonna be racing this thing in AutoX or just a DD that you want to have some fun with?

A daily driver that I'll occasionally drag race on weekends. I don't think I'll be doing any AutoX.

EDIT: Would coilovers not be my best bet for DD and drag?

If your not doing AutoX then I would put a set of HPs on it and save the rest of the money for brakes and then engine upgrades.

Like these: HERE

Alright, how do I upgrade my brakes? I don't know much about that.

Just get a set of good rotors and then some high end pads. Brakes ona stock civic are amazing, so you really dont have to do much to them. I just got some Brembo rotos and drums, and then some really nice pads and shoes.
