Default Headlights only work on bright

got a 2001 civic EX. I've had it about 2 months and have not had any problems until yesterday when my headlights don't work on dim. On bright the lights work fine. Anyone else ever had this problem? Does anyone know what might cause this?

TIA

Maybe the lowbeam fuse blew out

I looked at the fuses under the hood and under the steering wheel and it looked like there wasn't a fuse just for the low beams. Could it be somewhere else?

There should be. Go look on your owners manual. I know for my 99 civic, it has a fuse for the lows and for the highs

OK, I've got my manual in front of me. There is a fuse for the left headlight and one for the right. These are under the hood. The interior fuse box has no mention of headlights. But there is a fuse for daytime running lights. What are daytime running lights?

when my left headlight was out i had to use the high beams but once i put in a new bulb it worked fine on low. check your bulbs... what the heck it is only like 15 bucks for some good ones.
