HELP ON STEERING WHEEL

Is it posable to take the steering wheel out if there is an airbag built in it. I went to one shop and they refuse saying it was to dangerous

It is strongly recommended to disable the SRS system before doing any work near the steering wheel.
I'm at work right now, but I think it says how to disable it in the Haynes manual.

Yeah a Haynes or Chilton manual will tell you how to remove it. Not very difficult to do.
