Default Hey guys

Back again =). Since I am new to hondas and cars in general. I need a bit of help. I dont know how to go about changing my accesory belts as they are squeaking un bearably, i spray WD40 on there but that doesnt work anymore hahaha

Turn the car on. Step out of the car. Get right the **** back in the car cause its so damn loud and annoying.

SO. what belts do I need? The belt I was spraying the wd40 on was the easiest one to spray if you open your hood without having to finangle around.

Thanks guys =)

Do you have A/C? If not, the only belt you should have is the alternator belt. First, loosen the bolt that keeps the alternator tensioned and see if the belt is cracked everywhere on the inside, new ones are really cheap. Make sure with the new/old belt that you have a good amount of tension on the belt and dont spray WD 40 on it. Belt Conditioner would work better but it will only mask the problem until you buy a new one or tighten your old one.

Yes i have A/C and the belt is quite taught so it isnt that. It is worn and dried out though. So ill just replace it. So just loosen it with the bolt on the back of the pulley right? and then put the new one on and tighten the bolt?

Something like that, I cant remember because I dont have A/C. You have to remove that one to remove the alternator belt so might as well check both and make sure both are good tight.

When I bought my new belt I gave it a good spray of conditioner and every once in a while check that its tight and it never makes a noise!
