this dude down the street from me just got the new S2000. he popped the hood for me and i almost jizzed myself. it was beautiful. he also gave me a ride around the neighborhood in it (he wouldnt trust me behind the wheel).....[sm=smiley19.gif] i havent decided if those are tears of absolute awe or tears because i cant afford one for myself

 

i went to buy one about 1 1/2 years ago and went to the dealer for my "test drive". i got in and was so uncomfortable [sm=boohoo.gif]. btw the seat was all the way back. i said **** it and i looked at this saleen he had on the lot (sweet). i don't think i'll spend all that money on a ford.

 

What motor does the S2K have?

 

F20C, unless its a newer one, 03+ i think, then its F22C.

 

yup, newer ones have f22c's and rev around 8k instead of 9k, but puts out way more torque

the newer s2k's are way better built, altho if you even THINK about driving with the top up, dont get one... these are supposed to have the top down.. ALL THE TIME

the hard top option is nice, and you can drive it all the time that way...

 

The s2000 was uncomfortable when I test drove it. BUT, thats how a true roadster is upposed to be... they are kinda like choppers, they make you feel like you are one with the road. The only thing that botheres me about it, is that you cant adjust the steering wheel. But the hard top option is like a 2-3k deal... but they do make the s2000 look bad a$$ with em on.

 

that doesnt make any sense why would they build a roadster that you can put the top up????? i mean if i had one i would ride with it down all the time cause i'll look cool but when i wanna put it up i can't??? ust curious.

 

You can put the top up... I had it up for a minute to see what it it was like... nothing crazy.

 

its still a beautiful car...

theres so many fricken sweet cars in my neighborhood, but this is prolly one of the best
