Default Hon-1 T-Harness can't be right

Hi,
I'm trying to install a Bulldog Car starter in my daughter's 1998 Civic LX
I checked and the right T-Harness for her car is the Hon-1.

When I tried to put in the 7P connector it was a real struggle, I even dremeled some material off. I then checked the other T-harness (it comes with a set of 2 and it doesn't match at all. From what I read the connectors should plug in near the ignition switch.

In addition the 7P connector's middle pin on the 3 pin side is shifted in the opposite direction that the connector on the car, so it will not mate to the car even after dremeling

Do I have the wrong connectors ? Is the 2nd connector somewhere else ?
Thanks for any help!
I thought this was going to be a breeze : (

Thanks to the excellent support at Bulldog, they pointed out that the connectors were underneath dash ...not in steering column

They even have a web site with pictures
Ready Remote™ | AutoCommand® Start&make=Honda&model=Civic#

go to above link click on the small photo button the picture shows the 2 plugs they are above the fusebox underdash on left.
