Default Honda civic 1.5i vtec

Hi guys. I'm new here and I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right Place
I've got a Civic 1.4 sport model from 1996-2001. I'm thinking to buy another one for the wife but I saw the same one as mine but with different engine,it is a 1.5i vtec. Apparently it is a bit more powerful. What do you guys think about this one? Many differences between one and another one?

Default New updates

Hi guys, about a month ago I bought my second 6 generation civic, from the same year as the other one, 2001. This civic it seems to have an issue in the rear suspension compared to my other civic, if I measure from the tyre to the arch of the rear wing, there is a bigger space. When driving in pot holes it is really bouncy, it seems that something is loosed in the rear suspension. I’m planning to take off the rear wheels and have a look at the suspension. It looks to me that the trailing arm bushings just have been changed, there are some marks of hammering them in place. I never had any car with shock absorber problems, but when the shock absorbers get messed up, in my situation if it happens in my civic rear suspension, the suspension should be lower than usual, shouldn’t it? Any ideas will be welcome

No, I bought another exactly the same, 1.4 90 bhp. I really wanted to buy the iVTEC but I missed one that was for sale just for one day, then I needed a second car ASAP and the available ones where only 1.4 and 1.6. the reason I went for the 1.4 is because here in UK, cars registered before March 2001 and below 1.6 cc are cheaper on road tax. My Y reg, March 2001, costs me £210 per year and my X reg, Feb 2001, only £130. Both cars are the same, the same engine, just one of them is one month older
