I have a 2000 hondaCIVIC se 2DR, with colth seat... One of my friend has a 2000 Acura 1.6EL with leather seats. I was wondering if i can take the leather seats from the 1.6EL and put in my 2000 Honda civic SE 2DR?

yeh you should be able to, you might have to fab. some runners though, but you can get them to fit, with some perseverance you can get almost anything to fit

Why not take your seats to upholstery place and have it cover with new leather?

 

They make kits to change the seat surfaces, I saw a civic at Bobby Rahaul Honda in Mechanicburg Pa, and I asked about it and the salesman told me there was a place nearby, that did the changes, I think it was 800 bucks, so you should be able to get the stuff and do it yourself, or have a uphostery shop do it for you.

1.6EL's are the same chasis as an EK civic, they should bolt right in without any modification, however you should keep in mind that sedan seats don't fold down as far as coupe seats, so your passangers may have trouble getting into the back seat
