I am looking to buy a new 2008 Civic LX (automatic)this weekend and want to know what a good price is for the car. I know that the MSRP is around $18,300 including destination. Realistically, how low can I knock this down at the dealership? Thanks for any thoughts and experiences.

 

Check edmunds.com. They will provide you with the true market value for the car, including what price others in your area are paying.

with $7,000 down and im paying $395.00 a month

No, i used capital one, then i bothered the hell out of him to lower the price to $18,000

 

bought mine last week for 20,400. ex sedan....

 

395 a month! Whoa, that is high unless you are getting 3 year term. A loan of 12,000 should be around 250 to 275 a month for 5 year.

mines 472 a month but thats with no down payment and a bunch of warranty and i had some negative credit..i know, im an idiot but they convinced me with pizza
