A spoon chip? From where? Those are fake. Get a chip from a legit tuning company. Check out phearable.net, for example.

Don't get launch control, just learn how to launch.

How is this your race car? It's a single cam Civic with bolt ons. I'm not trying to mean, it's the truth, and I don't understand.

Im not doing a swap cause everyone does one, just doing high compression na racing, crowler stage 2 cam and supertech dual valve spring and titanium retainers is my next mod when the head comes back, then block work. Everyone does a swap, do something that not everyone does, plus I got a 240sx project going on at the same time that's getting swapped and turboed, already got the parts for the 240sx though

I'd stay away from titanium retainers as I've seen many online where others have said theirs have worn down badly where the spring seats, or chips because they're more brittle than steel retainers.

I use crower chromoly steel retainers.

I've had one before, they are good. They are a reputable tuning company. They custom tune the basemap based on the information you give them about your Civic. I had an AFR gauge on at the time and the A/F ratio was good and it ran great, so I was quite impressed with the quality of their basemap.

Was not aware you were building the engine, using for racing makes much more sense now after knowing that. No offense, but I was getting the impression that this was just another kid who thinks his single cam Civic is a racecar because it's got a chipped ECU and I/H/E. Glad to hear that's not the case. Good luck with the build

Yeah that's what I thought too.

Have you looked into the bisi header? Or the replica? It's supposed to be top notch for NA.

+1 for phearable.
