i'm sure i probably know this but how do u remove grease/oil off my stainless steel downpipe?

isay use soap and water, the other stuff mentioned above will ruin the finish on the downpipe and make it look like ****

Hmm, maybe brake cleaner, but I've used purple power many times since it was recommended to me by a detailer and I've seen no problems with it. But soap and water always works

brake cleaner and any type of degreager will turn the stanless to a cloudy finish and look like ***

well wat if its bronze/gold color dat it gets to? will any degreaser or watever ruin da color?

what gold/bronze are you talking about?? and are you talking about paint or metal??

sorry i meant to say: u know how stainless steel headers turn to a gold or bronze type of color in time? does degreaser or ruin the finish or whatever also?

it turns the polish look into a cloudy color kinda of link aluminum but worse

ah... my friend just texted me and said da best thing to do is to remove da downpipe, wash it with soap and water like u said, and find where that oil is comin from. which i just found out its my oil pan...
