umm im not really sure but i think ull notice that ur lights will get dimmer over time. if u have power windows they will go up and down slower and also when u start the car up it might feel a little weak.

if you have a digital multi-meter(or know someone who has one)you can check the voltage at the battery terminals, before you start your car turn your headlights on for one minute to take the surface charge off and then check it, if its below 12.4v or 75% then you will need a new one... just the first procedure in testing it, save you a trip to the zone.

great thanks...
btw how long would an average battery last if i constantly play music every time i drive?
what brands would be best since I have to probably replace mine soon.
I've had a bad experience with a previous car and I didn't like whoring around for someone to jumpstart my car.

when ur driving ur car playing music doesnt kill your battery because ur alternator takes over and thats wut powers things. when ever ur car is on the alternator charges the battery never to 100% or else the battert will never die. ur battery is mainly used for starting your car and the accories switch when the car isnt on.

get an optima or an odyssey. they'll last longer, won't leak, and have a much lower sudden failure rate than regular batteries.
