how much is it worth?

1999 EM1 (in my sig,) got it with 66K miles, almost MINT shape. Pretty much stock when I got it, not so stock now. 5100$ (2 yrs ago,) never been wrecked, but it needed clutch, tires, and brakes. I don't think it was too bad of a deal, KBB was a lot higher.

thats a good deal two years ago actually. the engine and trans were good too?
i cant find a damn em1 at a decent price, it seems alot of idiots are pricing them according to their "emotional" value, almost always over 7k, and the ones that are around 5 or 6k and all busted up with super high mileage...
been looking for about 3 months now, still cant find a decent em1 with a decent price.
am i just crazy?
also, the canadian black book (canadian version of KBB) says its worth between 4.5k and 5.5k tops.

Nope you're not crazy, it takes a while. Took me 4 months of searching to find what I wanted, other than the clutch, brakes, and tires it was PERFECT. I went and looked at about 10-20 EM1's and they were all either beat to hell or way overpriced. I didn't mind doing the maintenence things on my car because the body and engine/trans were mint. All stock too, and the engine/trans were original with 66K miles on everything.
