Civic is one of the best mileage small or economy cars available. Versa Yaris, Xa Scion, and a few others get just about the same, but no better than Civic. Civic is a lot nicer in terms of options, and nice interior, etc.

My brother has a 2005 Echo hatchback he bought from one of those "financing for anyone!" type of used car dealers ($152 biwkly, 26% interest for 5 years lol). It has only 94000 kms, gets only slightly (1-2 mpg or so) better fuel mileage than my 16 year old Civic that has 3 times the mileage, and yet my Civic definitely feels quicker around town and on the highway, and the interior plastic pieces don't squeak as much as the Echo.

Alright guys just finished another tank. Well i got to 202 this time not 150 which is a major improvement! Thats what changing the spark timing did. I got about 17-18 mpg. Better. HOWEVER!! GUESS WHAT. So i changed my spark plugs today and they were all f-ed up! All nasty, AND the last spark plug wasnt even tightened correctly. Like i could have just twisted it off with no effort. Im thinking the engine wasnt getting the spark from this one, like it was running on 3 cylinders.... well i put some new ngks on there so and filled it up! LETS SEE WHAT HAPPENS

^ it feels way more responsive and accelerates quicker. Im pretty exited for the results lol. I might just drive around all day just to calculate the mileage! I lied on my signature though, i havent changed the plug wires. I wanna do that asap and im sure I will be pleased.

I'm a lead foot. I get 24-27 mpg city. I don't drive on the highway very often.
