The K20s in the newer Si hatches aren't very good. The good K20 is the one found in the RSX Type-S and in the new Si.

 

wait so their diff, whats the difference??? also would a gsr in my eg keep up with the k20 hatch

 

my friend jus bought a hatch, i think its an o3 or 04 or something in that range and it says ivtec dohc on the side, first itohught b16 but that isnt ivtec

 

The 03/04 Si hatch comes with the the K20A3 engine with a 5 speed manual. The K20A3 is also found in the base model RSX. The K20A2 is found in the RSX Type-S and uses a 6 speed manual. This website tells the difference between the A2 and A3. Basically, the A2 is better than the A3. A2 has 40 more HP and 20 more ft/lbs of torque.

i drove an 03 Si and was surprised at how slow it was. I raced an integra ls with exhaust and intake, and lost2 of the 3 times
