Default I have a 96 civic I wanna build help plz

I have a 97 civic d16y8
And I wanna do a mini build
It has 200k so can I rebuild the motor and be ok or
Should I buy a swap with lower miles?

I don't know anything about builds.
But my opinion is buy an engine with lower miles. Perhaps another transmission too, if its lurchy and dying.

Do more research. Mini me build refers to putting a vtec head on a non vtec block. You already have a d16y8, which is a vtec motor.

Why do you think you need to rebuild it?

I don't think he means a mini me. I think he means just a mild build.

Yes^ but now in just gonna try to trade to a 01 hatch wit a b16 I it.. I want manual anyways

They never made a Civic hatch in 01.....
