Ok.. Last night i was on my way home and i pulled up 2 a gas station just to put a little bit in. i got to the pump and put it in and put 10$ worth in. Once i put it back on the hook the woman ran out to me and told me i had just put DISEL in my civic. ooo boy was i pissed[:@]. I put a bottle of octane booster and a bottle of gas treatment in there. i had a little under 3/4 a tank and i put that disel in there so their is like a 9.9gas/3disel. Should i just run it out by driving a lot? or should i attempt to drain the thing? and if your suggesiton is to drain it.. how do i do it? =\

I wouldnt run it through drain it.What kind of civic do you have.

Go spend 10 bucks on a generic gas syphon, and drain it.

 

i wouldnt want that running through my engine so i would try and find a way to get it all out...

 

2001 honda civic LX.. i drove it home haha.. i even drove it 2 school today. im tryin to drain it right now so some information on how 2 would be nice.. plus u cant sypher it out.. got a filter in it..

 

well. iv had many people at work put gas in their diesels. the first time, i took the tank down and got it all out, and even whiped down the inside of the tank. but the second and third time i got lazy and just siphoned as much as i could out, and then filled it up with diesel again. never had a prob. but people get pissed when they spend 30$ in gas, then have to pay us over 100$ to drain it, and then 100$ for us to fill it.

 

haha. i drained it to where the gas mark is just above E.. im gonna fill it full with gas and put another bottle of octance booster in it..
