Default I think my 2001 EX is going to have to go....Read the reviews....

So I was reading some reviews on Edmunds and I know all cars have their problems but this 2001 year model has just enough to scare me silly.

http://www.edmunds.com/honda/civic/2...eview.3...html

Mainly: Struts and TRANSMISSION problems.

2000+ for a transmission in a car worth 5000 now would be killer.

I have 124,000+ miles on the 2001 civic ex coupe.

We gotta go get the air bags fixed sometime this week I hope under the recall.

Am I being too worried here? I have been wanting to get something bigger anyways because I am 6 foot 3 and well I want more room period.

Thanks

Yeah I am over 6 foot 3 really and I have to sorta slump to get under the hump in the roof from the moonroof. My dad has the same year but it is a sedan and I fit in it much better even with the moonroof.

Yeah I may be a little worried but the thing is I DO not want to put in a new tranny in my car.

I gotta fix the driver door lock and window motor before I can sell it though.

I considered buying a Honda fit but ugh I am not much for a hatchback car.

If well maintained, an 01 Civic should give you many more miles. I'd keep it, as maintaining a used car is much cheaper than buying a new one, if money is a consideration.

Yeah well my friends all say Honda fits are ugly and so do my parents. Well from the front they look awesome but the awesome leaves from there on back haha.

I live in South Carolina, my friends drive trucks with v8's haha.

Yeah while it may be cheaper to put money into a older car or whatever you can quickly put in the VALUE of that older car and that would not be wise.

Money is a consideration but I have wanted something with a little more well STYLE for a while and maybe a bit more headroom.

One of these would be nice haha:
