I have to say no, just because i know a lot of people who do just this thing.

 

depends on the shape that engine is in. probably not much if it's high miles with no buildup. probably not much even if it's low miles with no build up.

 

well lets put it this way i got it about 6 months ago and had it rebuilt cause it was knocking so there was 2500 bucks down the drain

 

with a fresh rebuild, you might be able to have that engine take a little more, but still not much.

I'm not as familiar with nitrous, but others on here can help you figure out what, if anything, is appropriate.

as for your 2500. how can you consider that wasted just because the engine isn't built to be a booster beast? IMO, money well spent on a decent engine in a decent car. if nothing else, you have a good looking car that can move your a$$ where it wants to go. be happy, and don't bet money that would be better spent elsewhere unless you're sure of the outcome!
