Is your cars idle fine? Maybe you did what nike did, and got plugs switched.

You get the code 14 when the idle is too high for any reason, typically a stuck IACV or a vacuum leak. With the IACV unplugged, the engine should almost stall. You can check the ports on the side of the throttle body before the throttle plate to see where air is flowing.

there was a post somewhere, that some one was on their way to napa or something, and there car was idling eraticaly. then they noticed they forgot to connect the iacv back in, and nike chimed in and said he got his mixed up. ill try to look for the exact thread/post.

is this the same IACV that was on the D16Y8 before the swap?
