if ur plannin on makin ur car a racer then u wanna learn to drive stick. its not that hard, its a helluva lot lighter than auto, and racing an auto will tear the transmission apart faster than a manual (correct me if im wrong but i think thats true)

dont flame me...im just sayin this cuz all everyone else said was 'learn to drive stick.' i thot u deserved a reason to

 

we all prefer a stick shift, but thats because we're "car people". if i wasnt a car person, i would want an auto too, its a hell of a lot simpler to drive in traffic and do multiple things at once. though as is, i much prefer a manual. he came in here for advice on a civic. not everyone who comes in here is a "car person" and he just wanted to make a bit more sound and maybe get a bit of fuel economy out of his car. lighten up guys, its not like he said he wanted to make it the first honda auto in the 9's. hes got his info, and as the author, he wanted the topic closed.[sm=closed.gif] (and ive been wanting to use that smiley)

Kappa tells Andy to learn to drive stick now, and Nail thinks Andy might want to turn the car into a racer.
