I use Liberty Mutual... they have a real nice kind of don't-ask-don't-tell thing goin' on for those of us who drive what have been designated "illegally modified" cars... I paid the same for all my 4G HBs ($1025/year, right when I turned 16), including the LS-turbo and the built ZCs... . The S14 was basically put down as a '95 240SX SE (heh heh... never seen a stock 240 move like that) so I was paying about $1,150/year. The GSXs were a little more, since they were factory turbo'd cars, but they give discounts for safety features like automatic seatbelts and newer models, so it was only just over $1,170. I'd recommend 'em.

That's funny, my friend and I were just talking about this the other day. Pretty much, we concluded that if you drive a civic ins. companies will litterally bend you over and f you out of money. I looked up a quote for a brand new Evo... $20 a month more than my civic. WTF?

I pay $138 a month for my 95 ex coupe.
I'm 19 with a clear driving history.
I have state farm.

I was paying $177 with AIG South.
So, that's why I changed to State Farm.
The $138 also includes my homeowners insurance.

Where do you live? what company do you have?

Mine's a tad under 250 a month and I'm damn near 21 with a perfect driving record. Rates are jacked up in NY, but come on. Oh, I have progressive too... it's the cheapest round here.

2 speeding tickets within 8 months of eachother and I pay less than $50 a month. I think my provider, Geico, has issues considering what I'm hearing you guys pay. And I'm in So Cal!

You don't have comp and collision then... not a good idea if you have a car that's worth anything. Basically it means that you're only insured to fix someone else's car, if you wreck yours they won't pay for it.

I GET IT NOW! I was like, "Damn, glitch in the system is a plus for me." I don't plan on wrecking my ride, so I'm chill.
