the type r was never brought to america straight up was it? im pretty sure they are all J-spec meaning RHD, and all that good stuff...but look what i found on ebay.

the tag that says ITR makes it look legit and the engine looks like a c5, but you cant see the tag....so what do you guys think....to me, it looks like some one is gonna get robed of a few extra grand if they buy it.

there were USDM version of the ITR, running the VIN checks it out as:

98 and 00 they had ITR's here

 

hmm...see i thought they did for a little while, but wasnt sure of the years. and since it had the tag it seemed legit...but i just wasnt sure. good call guys.

too bad i dont have the money...lol

 

they were sold in the US in 97 and 98 (champ white) and 00 and 01 (black, yellow). they were also sold in canada in 1999, and they were sold overseas starting in 96.

that one looks like it's in great shape.
