I have a junk civic that i want to get rid of. i called junk-a-car and they offered 100 dollars, but i read reviews that says they give checks not cash as stated on their website. has anyone used junk-a-car, or what have you done when junking a car. whats the best place to go to junk it, and get money for it.

 

Sell any parts that are still good on craigslist. Try and talk one of the potential buyers into taking the whole car.

It should not be hard to find places that will take away the leftover shell for free because it is worth about $100 as metal.

scrap it at the junkyard

 

i part them out as much as possible then cut cat off and any aluminum and copper stuff and scrap it. cash the check.

yea. well i tried parting it..but people offer like 5 bucks for fenders door and stuff. so i said f it. i did call a local junk yard and im getting 125 for it. plus i clean up my garage alittle bit.

 

what model and year is this civic and what parts are still on it?
cause i never seen anything on here about parting it out.......

 

post it on craigslist and put on there no lowballers... price everything you can think of, put it OBO but dont get lowballed down too low

 

id be interested in parts off it depending on what year and model and trans and that kinda crap
