Post Just bought a 1992 Civic Hatchback for 1500

I just bought a 1992 civic hatchback and im looking forward to doing some things on it. please inform on the ideas

-bondo dents and rust(already did 80% of it)
-get new air intake
-new paint job(please inquire about this)
Its original factory color was seafoam green and the owner i bought it from painted it silver. I want to give it a new one because its peeling. can i get some information about the price it would cost, etc.
-possibly new muffler

any other ideas of what i should do to it to make it better?

post some pix, your on the right path, if it runs good make it look nice first before you upgrade anything mechanicly. once it looks good then start with the mods.

Yes make sure the car runs great and there are no mechanic problems, that is step one. Second just go to local places and get prices on a paint job or if you have a spray gun do it yourself for cheaper.

Then Mod away.

Like I said I would do a tune up on your engine, water pump, belts, oil change, spark plugs ect. just to be on the safe side.

If there is a Franks Auto SuperMarket go there for your paint I only payed $50 for all I needed to paint my old ride.

Haha ya I would just forget that Idea and find the paint somewhere else, but either way your surely to spend much less doing the job yourself than a shop.

do you need to buy the same amount primer, paint, and clear coat for the finish? like overall, it being 3 gallons?
