Just bought a civic some quick questions
I just bought a 93 civic, here is a link to the ebay listing,
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cars-...3A1|240%3A1318
Hopefully that link works, it has alot of other he didn't he didn't mention in the listing but as you may be able to read it is missing the exhaust from the cat back and the air intake along with some other little things. I am completely new to civics, the only other car ive owned is a jeep. So i was wondering what type of exhaust I should put on. The previous owner put alot of care into the quality he put into it so I don't want to put on a piece of crap. But i am a college student so I don't want to spend alot. I want something that sounds good, looks good and performs well. What should I look for when buying an exhaust? I have seen on ebay people sell stainless steel exhaust packages from the cat back for like 120 are these good at all. Also any suggestions on a good air intake that isn't expensive. Any other tips you guys have would be great.

Yes, but since the reserve was not met he might not be getting it for that price.
For the intake I would get an AEM SRI, V2, or CAI. I would STAY AWAY from any ebay exhausts, and I would go with either a stock setup or a NAME BRAND performance setup (ie Tanabe, Apexi, Mugen, etc.)

I love my Greddy Evo 2 exhaust. It's pretty loud, especially because I have no cat, but it sounds good IMO. Greddy and HKS are my two favorite exhausts. As for intakes, I have had no trouble at all with my AEM CAI, just make sure you put an air bypass valve on there, if you get a CAI, so you don't suck in any water.
