Default K-20

im sure someone knows this, but since Im new to the idea of replacing my stubborn D17, can someone tell me if its possible( with the right mounts) to put a K20 in a 02 civic ex? I can get a good deal on the engine, mounts, tranny, wires, distributor, and shift linkage. if this is possible, out of whats listed, what else would I need. oh yeah, just found out its the K20 from the si, not type R. so dont know it that would be easier.

yea its perfectly possible. i have a d17a1 engine, its as SOHC version, crappier than yours. i know what you mean, we really nead a k20 motor for that extra boost of power.

actually, i'd rather have the d17a1 than the a2. i waxed my friend's a2 on the interstate, both 5spds
