Default Lease Deal

Hi,

I am considering this lease for a 2009 Civic LX Sedan:
39 Months, zero down, 1st month payment, Bank Fee, DMV
$228 per month which includes taxes and they are paying my remaining lease off which has 3 month left. Also getting 15K per yr

Trying to convince my wife its a good deal?

Thx

Bob

That's $8892 to drive the car for 3.25 years. What's the purchase price of the car?

Why not purchase a used Civic? You'll save a lot of money, own the car outright, and have no monthly payment when it's paid off.

leases are a ripoff unless there is a specific reason you only need the car for the length of the lease
stay away

lease are rip off unless there is a reason you only want to own the car for 3 years. just buy it and after your done with the payments the car is yours to keep no monthly payments. and you have the feeling the car belongs to you and not need to give it back to the dealers after 3 years. did you get quotes to buy the car? dont think it should be too much higher.

never lease a car.....In life you want to try and own as much stuff as you can. Like a house for instance. In some cases it makes you money. Leasing a car is just throwing money out the window, just like renting a house.
