What do you need hood pins for?

Be careful, if its a cheap CF hood then it could possibly "ripple" when you take a drill to it, mainly because most are CF covered like an overlay. I'd check with the company you bought it from.

a lot of carbon hoods need pins to make sure the latch doesnt fail at speed and the hood flys up. its highly recommended, even by most manufactures

measure twice, cut once, or if you are really nervous measure 3 times. Have confidence in yourself and youll do just fine

install the pins into the car first, then put a little wet paint on the tips, then close the hood onto them. thatll give you marks on where to drill.

and when you drill it, use a small drill bit from the inside of the hood, then drill the proper size hole from the outside of the hood so you don't chip or crack the outside finish.
