Default Lol is the K20A the way to go?

I was thinking of getting a H22 after this new motor gets **** load of miles on it but after watching this video should I think otherwise? Warning! Will put big smile on current honda and inspired owners.

K20A = amazing if you can afford it. But you're looking at around $5k for the longblock, trans, and pcm alone, then the custom mounts and axles you'll need to install it, and all the work you have to do to install it.

H22 = great motor for much less money. Think GSR swap prices; close to around $4k by the time it's in the car and running. Granted, it still requires a fair amount of work to install it (namely figuring out how to run the shifter cables and umm... persuading the frame to kindly GTFO the way of the engine lol), but come on... get it in the car, throw an intake, header, and a cat-back on the car, and you're still paying what the K20 swap packages alone usually go for.

Granted, I'm obsessed with the H22 and a little bit biased, but I have a good point, right?

Isn't that the engine that comes with the new 2009 civics?

Yeah. The k20a2 comes in the USDM 01-03 RSX-S, K20a3 comes in the USDM 01-03 RSX base and the EP3 (02-05 Si hatch), and the 04-06 rsxs had k20z-somethings, as do the 8th gen SIs. The K20A is the JDM K-series that Honda threw in pretty much everything... the CTR, ITR, Honda Integra, Integra IS, etc.

But like I said, the K20A is going to be expensive. HMO has the longblock/transmission/ECU listed for $5400, then you still need swap mounts and axles (unless you want to do a full 5-lug swap, but that'd probably be more expensive than getting swap axles).
