Hey guys I'm new. I'm just lookin to possibly pick up a cheap beater car to have while my other car is down for mods or repairs. I've been told I'd be able to pick up an old civic ( 89ish) for like 150 bucks. Can I really find one that cheap? And will it be in somewhat decent shape? ( like good enough to use as a DD occasionally?

Also lookin cuz it'd be nice to have a gas saver occasionally rather than drivin the mustang all the time.

If you can find an 89 civic running for $150 my hats off to you.... With the whole mpg/gas prices thing going on in the U.S. people are trying to sell there old hondas for a lot of money.

If you want a beater for cheap that you'll either throw away or rarely use get an american car or truck they'll be really cheap.

 

just get like a little beater truck my 96 tacoma gets 30mpg
