Loose driver's seat - help needed

Default Loose driver's seat - help needed

My 01 Civic driver seat rocks back and forth. it is tight from the rail to the floorboard, but the seat rocks about a 1/2 inch up and down. thanks, Ted

check the bolts from the rail to the seat pan...........

I've had this happen in both of my 03's, a DX and an EX.

I checked all the bolts--it might be the catch. To tell you the truth, I just gave 'em a whack and they settled into place.

I use the all the way back to the last notch. Have not noticed this on mid-range notches.

Where did you whack to fix the rocking seat?

rocking seat fixed - I unbolted the seat today , without disconnecting any wires I tilted the seat back and saw two gold nuts on each seat side, located behind the plastic trim. I tightened all four and seat was good and secure. Thanks, Ed

good thing it is fixed, doesnt sound very safe or comfortable.
