That would be a resounding yes. Better handling, etc, etc.

yes you can. Some springs are better with the stock struts. i hear tein stechs are good. But if possible...buy new struts as well because the more you drop it on stock struts, the better chance they blow out

Yes, you should be able to drop a '96 DX. Whether or not it's a good idea depends on how you want to use the car.

I'd recommend adjustable coilovers, especially if you may want to raise the car for snow clearance in the winter. You will want aftermarket struts if you drop it much.

Like people said, you can do it with just springs, but getting aftermarket struts is advisable

There are a lot of websites to purchase from, or if you are uncomfortable working on it youself, your local mechanice should be able to do springs no problem. I think on of the stickies has a link to another forum where the guy lists spring rates for a bunch of Hondas, and the types of springs that fit them.

I have a 99, which I think had the same trim levels and suspension. I'm torn between eibach Sportlines and Tein S-Techs at the moment.

yea dude no problem. Honestly, i have tein stech springs on right now (struts are waiting to be put on) and the ride is really not that much worse than stock. Just google DIY springs because there are a TON out there. Besides, once you get under there, its pretty straight forward i think
